We know Limerock (both the track and the website) isn't perfect, and since this is a club we want to hear from the members (and non-members) as to what you'd like to see different.
What would you like to change? What would you like to add or get rid of? What web features do you wish the site had?
Please note that this is not a place to make rule proposals - that should be done by filling out the proper form before the designated date.
Sincerely, Jason

Would like to know if you would be willing to bring in a new class? Either Xcel 600 Modifieds or Slingshots or even a new car called Mini Late Model? Here are the websites for each! www.xcelchassis.com - 600cc mini modifieds www.slingshotsbytobias.com - Slingshot modifieds www.minilatemodel.com - mini late model cars that use 600cc motors. Thanks!

Excel mod. I think its more of a pa and southern ny stock car track thats on there schedule. I think it be hard starting something like that at limerock, Slingshot there is already a fri,and sat track that races them again be hard to start a class, minilatemodel kinda neat again none around here kinda be hard to start something. Need to find something that already around here that looking for a place to race I know there is alot of atv rider looking for a place to race. As long as you make a rule that they run only racing tires they wont mess the track up any ( no knobby). Basically they run the same tires an micro just diffrent size I think. They have kids and adult classes amature or pro class. There an adult cage karts with wings open 4 cycle engine rules class down in pa forgot the track but they get around the track pretty fast and there alot of karts around nothing to put a cage on and build a wing and build an briggs open 4 stroke. Some people like building there own chassis or engines. Just my opinion Thanks

I suggest a novice/ rookie class for karters. Sealed Spec motor clutch and gear. Harbor Freight sells an import 6.5 hp OHV engine for $129 bolts direct to standard flat head motor mounts. Then buy an Ebay clutch and chain package for $29. Once you make throttle linkage and air cleaner adapter you'll end up with a $200 engine and clutch package. Other tracks have tried the same thing and they've had good sucess. The engines are steel sleeve and dual bearing. This could be a good way to get younger drivers interested and provide a cheaper class to keep them coming.

I love the track its amazing but i have a few suggestions after that money race.I think there needs to be a few more staff members because the volunteers didnt know what they were doing.I had a lap car placed in front of me but a lap down.It was a pain to get around them and then catch back up to the leaders.I dont mean to be mean or anything because ive ran your track all year and i will remain doing so but you cant run a track on volunteers.keep up the great track though.

Hi Scrappy - Here is how lapped cars are dealt with at Limerock as per our rule book. 16) On a RESTART, all cars (including lapped cars) shall revert back to their positions in the line-up at the conclusion of the previous green flag lap. Any car that is 2 or more laps down will be lined up to the rear of the pack on any restarts. If any lap requires multiple attempts to be completed, each attempt shall be counted as if it were a complete lap when determining final positions for cars unable to finish the race. For example, if two cars are towed off the track on the initial green, they shall hold the final two positions in the race finishing. If another car is towed off after the restart but before a lap is completed it will hold the third from last position in the finishing regardless of the initial feature lineup. Glad that you are enjoing the track conditions. ~Irene

Sounds like scrappy's volunteering? If you have ran there you would of known this is how it's ran. Where should have the lap kart gone?, up along side the leader so that he or she could have a chance to get their lap back or just toss 'em to the rear because there in your way and they help pay for the purse! On the other hand maybe if that kart was'nt down a lap you would of been one kart further back. Think about it.
cheez n crackers anyone!
